Rita Angus: Life & Vision opens tomorrow at the Auckland Art Gallery. Curated by William McAloon and Jill Trevelyan, the exhibition celebrates the life and work of one of the great pioneers of modern painting in this country. Trevelyan is also the author of the biography Rita Angus: An Artist's life, which was the non-fiction winner and biography category winner of this year's Montana Book Awards.
