Nobel Prize-winning author J.M. Coetzee will curate the presentation by Berlinde De Bruyckere at the Belgian pavilion at this year's Venice Biennale. The artist recently worked with Coetzee on a book with text by the author and photos by the artist and when asked for more on his appointment said: "I thought why shouldn't I ask him to be the curator and he agreed."
